Mr. David Herman Carr, age 68, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence. A native of Elizabethton, TN he was the son of the late Aaron C. and Julia Deloach Carr. Mr. Carr retired as a machinist at North American Rayon Corporation. He was a member of West Side Christian Church. He enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching football.
Those left to cherish his memory include a sister, Judy Ann Calloway and husband Henry, Elizabethton; a brother, Robert Lynn Carr and wife Brenda Kay, Elizabethton; two special nephews, Aaron Bailey and Scotty Calloway and a great-nephew, Zayden Calloway.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. David Herman Carr will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. on Saturday.
