Jimmie Don Brown, 70, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Unicoi County, he was a son of the late August Brown and Willie Kate Woodfin Booker. He was retired as Owner/Operator of Kingsport used tires. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Misty Dawn Brown and a brother, Billy Booker.
Survivors include a daughter: Constance Ferguson & husband Phillip. Two Sons: Jimmie Brown & wife Torie and Justin Brown & fiancé Lexi Bradshaw. Three grandchildren: Natalie Brown, Jacob Brown and Samuel Ferguson. Two Sisters: Pansy Tipton and Madeline Byrd. One brother: Andy Booker. Several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dexter Hoilman officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. Friday will be James Byrd, Chris Tester, Elmer Byrd, Ivan Byrd, Devan Nelson and Vincent Booker. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Glen Hoilman, Billy Joe Woodfin, Fred Woodfin, and Eddie Woodfin. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
