Deloris J. Smith Papantoniou, age 79, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. Deloris was born in Elizabethton on November 25, 1937 to the late Vester and Myrtle Campbell Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Papantoniou; two brothers, Lloyd Smith and his wife Ruth and Floyd Smith.

Deloris retired as a supervisor at Levi Strauss and Company, after 27 years of service. She was a member of Christ the Savior Greek Orthodox and loved spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, George Papantoniou, of Elizabethton; her son, John Papantoniou, of Elizabethton; her daughter, Vangie Masson and husband Greg, of North Ridgeville, OH; her grandchildren, Melina Emans and husband, Greg, of Lucky, OH, Christina Papantoniou and Phillip Papantoniou, both of Hinkley, OH, Victoria Masson, of North Ridgeville, OH, and Nick Papantoniou, of Elizabethton; her brothers, Clifford Smith and wife Dimple and Jackie Smith and wife Paulette, all of Michigan; her sisters, Joyce Milan (and late husband John), of Michigan and Geraldine Burrow and husband Terry, of Elizabethton; and a sister-in-law, Charlene Smith, of Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Deloris J. Smith Papantoniou will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the Christ the Savior Greek Orthodox Church with Reverend Father Stephen Mathewes and Pastor Bobby Burrow (Nephew), officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.

The graveside service will follow on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
