Kate Bradley Bowers, 86, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Signature Health Care. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William & Litha Mae McCloud Bradley. She was a 1952 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a retired employee of Empire Furniture, Johnson City. Kate was a member and she loved her church, Southside Christian Church. She loved to read and send cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde H. Bowers, Two Brothers: William & Robert Bradley and three sisters: Dorothy Pierce, Betty Dolan and Mary Dykes.
Survivors include her sister: Shirley M. Bradley, Her brother: John (Bud) Bradley and wife Mae. Several nieces & nephews include a special nephew: C.J. Campbell and a special niece: Amy Campbell.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Michael Koruschak, Minister officiating. Burial will follow the service. Active Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
