     Craig Hamilton Lowe, 51, Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born April 7, 1968 in Johnson City but lived his entire life in Elizabethton.  Craig was a 1986 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was previously employed at Mapes Piano String.  Those who knew Craig knew that he had three great loves: UT Football, Mountain Dew and Reba McEntire.  He was a lifelong member of Hunter First Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father: Bill Lowe and a brother: Derrick Lowe.

Survivors include his mother: Frances K. Lowe, his sister-in-law: Dr. Elizabeth P. Lowe and his beloved niece & nephew: Emma K. Lowe and Webster H. Lowe all of Chesapeake City, Maryland. His Aunt: Christine McClure, his uncles: Lawrence Hodge & wife Jenny, Richard Hodge & wife Phyllis and Hugh James Hodge & wife Diana all of Elizabethton. His uncle Lloyd Lowe & wife Sue and  several  cousins.
A Service to Celebrate the life of Craig  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastors Lance McClure, Pastor Dennis Wilson and Pastor Rusty Verran officiating.  Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park.  Music will be provided by Patti Hodge.  Active Pallbearers will be: Webster Lowe, Zeke McClure, Jeff Williams, Russell Hodge, Nathan Hodge, Randy Norris, Michael Hodge and Mark Roache.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ben Wallace, Keith Glover and Allen Grindstaff.  Frances would like to express her heartfelt thanks to her family, friends, neighbors and members of Lynn Valley Baptist Church for the prayers and support during Craig illness.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.  Friends may also visit with the family at the residence.
