Helen was a homemaker and loved being at home in the Stoney Creek Community. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved to garden, quilt, crochet and most of all, spend time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Deanna Mullican and husband Stephen, of Rock Island, TN and Dani Moreland and husband Todd, of Jonesborough; two grandchildren, Matthew Taylor and wife Rachelle, of Gray and Kristen Banks and Nick, of Greeneville; great grandchild, Karlee; two brothers, Robert Howard and wife Carol, of Kannapolis, NC and Lynn Howard and wife Ruby, of Hernondo, Mississippi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to especially thank Megan, Chris and Jerry of Amedysis Hospice for the exceptional love and care shown to Helen during her illness.
A committal and entombment service to celebrate the life of Helen Egli will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Happy Valley Memorial Park- Mausoleum of Peace with Reverend Chris Hughes and Reverend Travis Tyler, officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton at 10:15 AM on Monday to go in procession
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, may make donations to Grace Baptist Church, 1114 Broad Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
