Claude Marion Wilson, 94 of Elizabethton, Tennessee was born August 15, 1926 and died March 20, 2021 with his family by his side.
Claude is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lillie Wilson, daughters Ruth Pfitzenmaier (husband Doug) and Esther Lukenbaugh (husband Jack), one sister, Arliss Campbell, five grandchildren; Martha, Jeremy, Nathan, Chad and Julie, and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Frank Wilson and sister Billie Loveless.
Claude was a veteran of WW II, having served in the Navy. He was a Baptist preacher and pastored churches in several states. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He loved his Lord with all his heart and soul and will be remembered as a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
A service to honor the life of Claude will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Garrard and Mr. Kenny Lethcoe, minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Wednesday. The music for the service will be under the direction of Jim Johnson and David Arney. The graveside service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
