Robert Leslie Tester, 59, Hampton passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1962 in Elizabethton to the late James & Elva Dugger Tester. He was a Pipe Fitter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Dallas, Michael, Bert and Fred Tester and three sisters: Doris Branch, Norma Harrison and Debbie Stout. He attended Pearce Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He loved working on lawn mowers and also loved to watch wrestling.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years: Grace Sheets Tester. special Nephew who was like a son Gage Mink and special nephew: Austin Emore. Two Special Nieces who he referred to as his special angels, Glenna Mink and Christal Whitehead. Two Sisters; Rose Branch and Linda Tester. Four Sisters-In-Law: Marie Elliott, Rose Ann Sheets, Paula Tester and Rose Tester. Two Brothers-in-Law: Roger Sheets and Fiance Kristi Winebarger, and Bill Sheets & wife Elaine, a sister-in-law: Donna Tester. Several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Stevens officiating. Graveside and Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Billy Sheets, Fred Harrison, Billy Rose , Brian Hill, Austin Emore, Jeremy Oliver and Jason Whitehead. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jordan Branch and David Steffey. The family would like to express a special “Thank You’ to his Nurse Practitioner Prabha Long. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
