Mrs. Jane Glass Isaacs, 83, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon & Amanda Bible Glass. She was a 1949 graduate of Elizabethton High School. Mrs. Isaacs was a retired office manager at Cox & Rich Wholesale and also worked at Suzie’s Shoes. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty one years: Claude Isaacs, four sisters: Nancy Younce, Evelyn Vaughn, Frances Childress and Lucille Green and two brothers: Albert and Bill Glass.
Survivors include a special niece Vickie Burrow and husband Richie, Elizabethton. A Great Niece: Chasity O’Quinn and her husband Andy, Knoxville. Two Great Great Nephews: Jack and Grant O’Quinn, both of Knoxville and several other nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Younce officiating. Interment will be Wednesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
