Judy Garland Lipford, 77, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Haskell & Frances O’Quinn Garland. She was a retired employee of Kerr Drug Pharmacy and the Cafeteria Department of the Elizabethton School System. She loved Crafts and Sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jackson B. Lipford, A Grandson: Heath Lipford and a sister: Rhonda Winters Judy was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children: Tammy Wallace (Gary) Lipford, Chuckey, Tenn., Michael (Phyllis) Lipford, Concord, NC and Todd (Pam) Lipford, Charlotte, NC. Seven Grandchildren: Devin Lipford, Jessica Wallace, Melissa Phillips, Ashley Lipford, Hannah Lipford and Haleigh Lipford., 10 Great Grandchildren. One Sister: Donna (Robert) Carroll, Elizabethton, Two Brothers: Jerry (Barbara) Rumley, Watauga and Darrell (Lee) Garland, Hampton. Several nieces & nephews.
A Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Shumate, Officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Music will be provided by C.J. Ballard. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home prior to the service.
