Nell McKee Fair, age 95, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Ivy Hall Nursing Home.
Nell enjoyed fishing, gardening and quilting. Nell was also a faithful member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church.
Nell is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bertha McKee; son, Tommy Fair; brothers, Dallas McKee, Donald McKee and Johnny McKee; sisters, Ruby Holtsclaw, Artie Bell Cole, and Grace Calhoun.
Those left to cherish her memory include son, Bobby Joe Fair of Jonesborough; daughters, Sue Barlow and Betty Williams of Elizabethton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and best friend, Sandra Crow of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service and interment to celebrate the life of Nell McKee Fair will be conducted at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Justin Deaton officiating. Those who wish to attend are asked to arrive at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton at 10:15AM to travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be men of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to East Side Freewill Baptist Church Kitchen Fund at 704 Siam Rd. Elizabethton, Tennessee, 37643.
