Arminda Potter McMahan, Hampton, daughter of the late Calvin & Hattie Holcomb Potter, died on July 9, 2017 at Life Care Center, Elizabethton after an extended illness. Mrs. McMahan was born on August 28, 1927 in Neon, Kentucky and moved to Roan Mountain at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee McMahan, the father of her children and four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children: Jimmie Lee McMahan & wife Anita, Jackie McMahan & wife Yvonne, Jessie McMahan, Jerry McMahan & wife Gwen and Patricia McMahan Davis & husband Ronnie. Four Grandchildren. Two Sisters: Morell Hall and Sue Hurst (Harry).
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
