Barbara Ann Parlier Bradley, age 68, of Elizabethton, went home to join family, in the presence of the Lord, on Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital. Mrs. Bradley was a daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy Bowers Parlier and was born in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katrina Bradley, two sisters, Dawn Grindstaff and Jean McInturff, a niece Charlotte Parlier, a nephew, Trey Parlier and Isaac Bowers, whom she considered family.

Mrs. Bradley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her grandchildren, the beach, shark tooth hunting and scrapbooking. She was a member of Southside Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for years and who participated in different women’s ministry groups.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty years, Jerry Bradley of the home; two sons, Michael Bradley and his wife, Stacy; Ian Bradley and his wife, Leslee; three grandchildren, Logan Bradley, Lydia Bradley and Porter Bradley, all of Elizabethton; a brother, Lester Parlier and his wife, Dee, of SC; three sisters, Bobbie Peters, and her husband, Terry, of Elizabethton; Sharon Story and her husband, Bob, of Johnson City; and Joan Estudillo, of Washington State; Sam Bowers and his wife, Robyn, and their son, Eli, whom she considered family, all of Elizabethton. Several special nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Ann will be conducted on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Mr. Michael Koruschak, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday prior to the service or at the residence at other times.

The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the funeral home at 12:15 PM on Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
