Barbara Sue McInturff Collins, 75, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Carlos & Mary Nell McAmis McInturff. She was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. She loved to fish camping and gardening. Barbara attended Southside Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years: Charles W. Collins who passed away June 18, 2016 and by a sister: Sandra McDaniels.
Survivors include her children: Allen Cooper, Sr. & wife Sue Ann, Thomas Cooper & wife Betty, and Susan Lemley & fiancé Tom Lyman. Nine Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters: Linda Bradley and Alice Bennett. Several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Burleson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Caleb Gross, Allen Cooper, Jr., Nick Padua, Jacob Cooper, Adam Triplett and Manuel Simerly.
