Benny Creasman, 87, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, in the Hermitage Health Center.

A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Reynolds S. & Emma Victoria Combs Creasman.

Benny served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation.

He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church but attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hildred Kathleen White Creasman, who died August 6, 2005; and by two brothers, Paul Franklin and Hunter S. Creasman.

Survivors include his daughter, the love of his life Patty Ann Creasman; his special friend, Ray Davis; his four legged friend and companion, Reilly Jane; several nieces & nephews; two sisters-in-law, Patty White and Ruth White, both of Elizabethton.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016, in the Mausoleum of Hope, Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Cecil “Nick” Bradshaw officiating.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of Hermitage Health Center and also the staff of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
