Betty Lou Fulton Oliver, 79, Elizabethton, gained her Angel wings Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Signature Health Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Mae Campbell Fulton. She was retired from the Elizabethton City School System as a cook. Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Oliver, a daughter who lost her life in June 2017 to breast cancer, Melissa Lusk and several brothers & sisters.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law: Teresa & Dan Fragale, Elizabethton. Three Grandchildren that she loved and enjoyed being around: Misty Lusk, Justin Fragale and Ashley Stout. Six Great Grandchildren: Kaleb, Peyton, Bryson, Jeremiah, Dylan & Logan. One Sister that was dear to her heart: Nellie Pate.
Graveside Service will be conducted will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Signature Health and the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
