Mr. Bill Deloach, 55, of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital. He was the son of the Charlotte Burrow Deloach of Elizabethton and the late William Buddy Deloach.
Mr. Deloach was employed by Volunteer Floor Covering, Roan Mountain, and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and was interested in old cars.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Michelle Malone Deloach, of the home; a daughter, Leah Deloach, Johnson City; a step-daughter, Trista Freeman, of the home; a step-son, Codey Carter, of the home; two grandchildren, Hannah Norris, the light of his life, of the home; Payton Norris, Johnson City; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rick Walker, Elizabethton; a nephew, Travis Walker, Elizabethton; a special uncle, Roger Burrow, Elizabethton; his special mother-in-law, Evelyn Malone, Bluff City; and several other aunts and uncles. Two special friends, Ricky Hatley and Keith “Myron” Montgomery also survive.
The funeral service for Mr. Deloach will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Ben Sheets officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Crisp. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, on Wednesday prior to the service, at his home, or at the home of his mother, at other times.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Myron Montgomery, Rick Hatley, Kenny Bouton, Rob Miller, Chris Blumenstock, and Randy Cross. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Depew and his fellow employees of Volunteer Floor Covering. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 PM on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
