Billy Carroll Wilson, 80, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born April 8, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clyde Junior & Margaret Pauline Roberts Wilson. He had lived fifty five years in Carter County. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Sears and also at Lowe’s. He loved working around his home and yard. Billy was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Elizabethton.
Survivors include his wife: Janet Jackson Wilson. Two Children: Laura Nutter, Johnson City and Danny Wilson, Elizabethton. A Step-Daughter: Misty (Chad) Head, Elizabethton. Four Grandchildren: Daniel Wilson, Jaymon Wilson, Patrick Norton and Kaleigh Head also his four legged friend, Cody.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Doctors and Nursing Staff of the ICU, Sycamore Shoals Hospital for the excellent care he received.
