Billy Wayne Arney, 59, Elizabethton,passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at his residence. Born June 15, 1960 in San Diego, California, to the late Billy R. & Ruth Dickenson Arney. He had lived in Elizabethton since 1994. He was a Construction Worker.
Survivors include his wife: Alesia Michelle Wilson Arney. Four Children: Josh (Stefanie) Arney, Jennifer (Aaron) Bailey, DeAndra (Adam) Abshire, and Greta Campbell. Six Grandchilden : Madison Arney, Ian Arney, Katelin Teague, James Bailey, Emily Bailey and Whitney Oliver. A Brother: Randy Arney, a sister Shari Arney.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Josh Callahan officiating. Burial will follow the service. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Friday will be: Josh Arney, Adam Abshire, Aaron Bailey, Phillip Bentley, Cody Wilson and Nolan Berry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Day, Phillip Wilson and Randy Arney. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Friday.
