Brenda Gail Emmert Crowe, age70, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018 from Signature Health Care of Elizabethton. Brenda was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Arnold and Lulean Dolan Emmert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Randy Crowe, in December 2017; an infant daughter; and one brother Roy Emmert.
Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker and was a member of Big Springs Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melissa Buxton and husband Don, of Jonesborough; her son, Nathan Crowe and wife Rachel, of Elizabethton; a sister, Midge McQueen and husband Kit, of Elizabethton; her grandchildren, Thomas Buxton and wife Tiffany, Kelby Buxton and Desmond Richardson; one great grandchild, Jackson Cole Buxton; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Brenda Gail Emmert Crowe will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Mr. Glenn Layfield, officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Sunday or at the residence of her daughter, at other times.
The graveside service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Kelby Buxton, Chris McQueen, Thomas Buxton, Kevin Rominger, Keith Tipton, Jimmy Vaughn and Josh Vaughn.
The family would like to thank Dr. Siv at Karing Hearts, Dr. Krishnan at the Regional Cancer Center and the staff of Signature Health Care of Elizabethton for their loving care.
