Carolyn Jean Greenwell, age 74, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017 from the Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. Carolyn was born in Carter County to the late Earnest and Frances Dugger Greenwell.
Carolyn was a member of Grace Baptist Fellowship Church of Jackson, Tennessee and enjoyed meeting new people.
Those left to cherish her memory include her double first cousins, Judy Herbage and husband David and Doris Coffman and husband Thomas, all of Jackson, TN; and her other cousins, Lisa Bolton and husband Jeff, of Roswell, GA, Mike Taylor and wife Rayla, of Jackson, TN, Kevin Mayo, of Elizabethton, Michael Taylor,II, Cade Taylor, Jeffrey Bolton, Jacob Bolton, Anna Grace Bolton, Hayden Mayo and Peyton Mayo.
A service to honor the life of Carolyn Jean Greenwell will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Travis Tyler, officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Tuesday.
The graveside service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
