Mr. Charles Brooks Cole, age 47, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his residence. A native of Elizabethton, TN he was the son of Dolores Oaks Cole, Elizabethton and the late William Ralph Cole. Mr. Cole was a 1988 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was the former co-owner of Cole-Milhorn Motors. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop # 31 and he was a member of East Side Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Marie Cole and a little canine friend, Anny. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include two sisters, Carol Cole Scruggs and husband John P. Scruggs, Elizabethton and Dolores Ann Cole, Greeneville, TN; an uncle, Jack H. Oaks; an aunt, Phyllis Walker and special life-long friends, Curt Alexander, Kenneth Brumit, Kathy Dugger-Edwards and Byron Milhorn. Many cousins also survive.
A private graveside service will be held for Charles Brooks Cole in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Curt Alexander officiating. Friends may call at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 to sign the register book.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the charity of their choice.
