Charlotte Sue Geisler

Charlotte Sue Geisler, age 85, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a daughter of the late Allen W. and Mona Mae Fox Brown and was born in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen M. Geisler in 1984; a brother, Roy Oscar Brown., a sister, Juanita Jones and a son, Glen M. Geisler, Jr.

Mrs. Geisler was a loving mother who enjoyed reading and watching religious programming on TV. She loved her pets and was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Tim Whitehead, of Johnson City; a brother, William Brown of Pensacola, FL; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Jones, of Hickory, NC; Phyllis Biggerstaff of Hickory, NC; Diana Hill, of Johnson City; Donna Cox, of Johnson City; and Sean Brown of Pensacola, FL.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Geisler will be conducted on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 7:00 PM in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Mr. Charles Griffith officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service.

The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 9:50 AM on Thursday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and care shown to Mrs. Geisler and her family during her time there.
