Cindy Marie Garrison Austin, 61, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 28, 1961 in Elizabethton. Cindy was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a waitress at the Waffle House in Elizabethton. She attended Valley Forge Christian church. In addition to her mother: Evonne Flockhart Garrison, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael James Austin.
Survivors include her sons: Michael (Jessica) Austin, Elizabethton and Dustin Austin of the home. A Granddaughter: Autumn Nicole Austin. Her Father: Jerry Garrison, Elizabethton and a brother: Glen Ray Garrison, Elizabethton. Also two step-sisters: Sherry Edney and Kathy Groves and a step-sister-in-law: Barbara Edney.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. David Siebenaler, Minister officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home a 1:20 p.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
