Claudette was born in Elizabethton to the late Thomas and Christine Bowers and had lived in Elizabethton her entire life. She was known as very independent and out spoken lady. Claudette had worked for Ingles Supermarket as a Clerk for many years and loved animals of all kinds.
A graveside service to celebrate Claudette’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Alan King officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 AM on Monday.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Carter County Animal Shelter, 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643 in honor of Claudette.
A special thank you to the caregivers, nurses, doctors and staff of The Waters of Roan Highlands for the exceptional and loving care given to Claudette during her illness.
