Loved by all, Cody Allen Roberts, 21, Elizabethton, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2014, in Carter County.
Cody is the son of mother, Amy Henegar West, and father, Mark Roberts, and step-mother, Karen. He worked in the parts department of Wallace Subaru & Volkswagen Imports. Cody was a 2011 graduate of Happy Valley High School.
He was preceded in death by paternal great grandparents, Clay & Bessie Leach; paternal great grand-father, Larn Roberts; maternal great grandparents, Daniel Earl & Gladys Henegar and Joe & Lora Wynegar.
Cody is survived by: Mother: Amy Henegar West; Father: Mark Roberts; Step-Mother: Karen Roberts; Sister: Maci West; Brother: Luke Roberts; Step-Brother: Michael Coleman; Maternal Grandparents: Danny & Norma Henegar; Paternal Grandparents: Carl & Linda Roberts; Paternal Great Grandmother, Myrtle Roberts; Aunt & Uncle: C.J. & Daphanie Roberts; Special aunt, Karen Henegar; and special cousin: Jasper Roberts; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; Special Friends: Charlie Lyons, Eli Bradley & Travis Chesser.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, in Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m., will be: C.J. Roberts, Luke Roberts, Charlie Lyons, Elli Bradley, Travis Chesser, Aaron Chesser and Seth Chesser. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dennis Guinn, Dean Guinn, Chad Bogart, Travis Berry and All Watauga Reenactment Participants, Sycamore Shoals.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
