Daisy R. Ornduff

Daisy Rasnick Ornduff, age 79, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2019 from the Johnson City Medical Center. Daisy was born in Elizabethton to the late James and Ethel Spears Rasnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ornduff, in November 2018.

Daisy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had worked as a machine operator and was of the Baptist faith. Daisy enjoyed being outside and sewing, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and loved ones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Ornduff, of Johnson City; her daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Charlie Berry, of Elizabethton and Teresa and John Belcher, of Bristol, TN; five grandchildren, Cody Buckles, of Charlotte, NC, Lisa Moore and Melissa Nelson, both of Bristol, TN, Cydney Robertson, of Elizabethton and Emma Ornduff, of Johnson City; and two great grandchildren, Madison Moore and John Nelson, both of Bristol, TN.

A service to celebrate the life of Daisy Rasnick Ornduff will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Dr. James Richardson, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Tuesday.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mark Ornduff, John Belcher, Danny Ornduff, Benjamin Moore, Glen Reece and Cody Buckles. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, to go in procession.
