Donna Lynne Richardson, 56, Kingsport passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a Carter County Native. Donna worked in the Children’s Department at JC Penney, Johnson City for several years until she retired due to disability. She was of the Christian Faith. Donna was preceded in death by her mother: Frances Louise Grindstaff.
Survivors include a sister: Karen McHenry, Cocoa, Florida. One Uncle & Aunt: Larry & Betty Grindstaff, Elizabethton. Several nieces, Nephews & cousins.
A Service to celebrate the life of Donna Richardson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Will Shewey officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shades of Grace, 313 East Sullivan Street, Kingsport, Tenn. 37660 to help the homeless.
