Edith Kyte Clark, 93, Kingsport, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Mountain City Care Center. A native of Butler, she was a daughter of the late James Holland and Ola Pleasant Kyte. She had lived in Kingsport since 1952 and was employed at Park-Belk of Kingsport for several years. Edith was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She was a former member of Little Doe Baptist Church, Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Manard Clark who passed away April 2, 1997, by her Step-Mother: Aradia Kyte, by a sister: Vee Moody, a brother: Billy Kyte and a nephew: Norman Moody.
Survivors include three daughters: Brenda (Frank) Reaves and Glenda Smith, both of Naples, Florida and Patty Wells, Kingsport. A beloved Granddaughter who was like a daughter: Ashley Wells, Johnson City. One Sister: Charlotte Miller, Kingsport. Two Nephews: Terry Kyte and Joe Kyte and two Nieces: Angie Kyte Devitt and Penny Bowers.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kreg Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
