Edna Deloris (LaFollette) Fair, 88, Telford, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 after a brief illness. She was a daughter of the late Joseph (Joe) and Lillian Freeman LaFollette. Edna was a graduate of Science Hill High School in Johnson City. Edna was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing and other crafts. She was an accomplished seamstress who had a rewarding career performing alterations at O’Connell’s Menswear in Augusta, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Edwin Fair, by a daughter, Donna Arwood, one sister, Louise Hughes and one brother, James (Jim) LaFollette.
Survivors include three daughters: Sandie Ellis & husband Ernie, Columbia, South Carolina, Melinda Welch & husband William, Raleigh, North Carolina and Jennifer Fair, Acworth, Georgia. A Grandson: Joseph Ellis. Her Sisters; Katherine Sawyer, Irwin, and Joann Stokes, Telford. Sisters-in-laws: Dorothy Dykes & husband Gerald, Goose Creek, South Carolina, and Ann Ingram & husband Billy, Elizabethton. Several nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, with interment in Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Victor and Judy Deloach and the caregivers and staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home in Elizabethton.
