   Eliza Jane Griffith Moore, 93, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Hermitage Health Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Della Arnold Griffith. She was a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation and retired from Denise Lingerie. She loved to work puzzle books Eliza was a member of Keenburg Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: in 1972 Thomas J. Moore, her daughter: Paula Ann Wiseman in 2013, four brothers: Raymond, Harry, and Paul & Hermon Arnold, two sisters: Fronia Davis and Aretta Norris. She was a devoted mother-in-law, aunt and friend. Eliza will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son-in-law: Jimmie Wiseman and several nieces & nephews including a special niece: Georgia Carr and also great nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead and Rev. R.L. Poole officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at1:20 p.m. Sunday will be Nigel Davis, Mickey Slind, Larry Taylor, Bo Carr, Bud Carr, Jimmie Wiseman, Jerry Perry and Brian Norris. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Everett Richardson and Dale Norris. The family would like to express a special “Thank You “to the staff of Hermitage Health Center and the staff of Hospice and a very special “Thank You” to those who made her passing easier, Jimmie Wiseman, special niece Georgia Carr, Alley-Jerri, April & Welma. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
