Eva H. Gouge, 97, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late John W. & Amanda Kress Hardin. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Mrs. Gouge was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation after 47 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Gouge, One Brother: Hubert Hardin and One Sister-In-Law: Mary Evelyn Hicks. She attended the Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter: Loretta E. Range, Lubbock, Texas. A Grandson: David G. Range, Lubbock, Texas. A Brother-In-Law: Paul Gouge, Elizabethton. A Nephew: Richard Hardin. A very special friend: Mary Keylon.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of Life Care Center and the Staff of Caris Health Care.
