Frances Nell White Treadway, Elizabethton passed away peacefully Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late O.F. & Lone White. Nell was a 1938 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a homemaker and owner of O.F. White Store. Nell & her late husband were lifelong farmers and operated the store for a number of years. She loved to work in her flowers. Nell was a member of the Siam Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Eston B. Treadway who died September 7, 2014.
Survivors are a special Cousin, Robert White and a special niece, Joyce Treadway both of Elizabethton.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Eric Wright officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and neighbors in attendance. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the 1938 graduating class of Elizabethton High School. The family would like to thank the visiting Angels Home Care for the wonderful care she was given. Also a special “Thank You” to her “Special Angels”, Carmon, Jennifer, Liz, Angela, Sandra & Tracy.
