Harold F. Cloutier Jr.
April 6, 2022
Date of Service: April 13, 2022
Interment Location: Garden of Paradise
Harold retired as a school teacher after 38 years of service in Michigan, where he taught middle school – mostly computer science. He also spent many of his summers serving the community with their mental health issues working as a mental health aide at a nearby hospital. Before moving to Tennessee Harold served as a Deacon for many years at the Waterford Church of Christ congregation. After moving to Tennesee, he and his wife were faithful members of The Elizabethton Church of Christ. One of his favorite activities with the church was the fall ‘color tours’ where he drove the church van, sharing fellowship and the beauty of the mountains as the leaves changed colors. Harold was always there for his family and friends. Although he was a quiet soul, he was deeply devoted to both his family and to God. He cared for everyone and had a big heart and was accepting of everyone.
Those left to cherish Harold’s memory include his wife of 53 years, Linda Guy Cloutier of the home; his son, Matthew (Stephanie) Cloutier of Waterford, Michigan and their daughter, Chloe Cloutier; his son Mark (Gina) Cloutier of Grand Blanc, Michigan; his brother James (Jolene) Cloutier of Muskegon, Michigan; his sister, Linda Cloutier of Spring Lake, Michigan; and his brother, Steven (Suzanne) Cloutier of Holland, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
