Ida Rhina Pierce Brewster, 81, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Caleb and Victoria Williams Pierce.
Mrs. Brewster was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Johnson City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Brewster, October 10, 1988, and by seven brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Levant; several grand and great-grandchildren; a sister, Hattie Nidiffer, Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Brewster will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Interment will follow the service. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Friday. Condolences may be sent to the Brewster family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
