He leaves behind two children, Adam Michael Davidson of Arlington, VA, Lauren Elizabeth Davidson of Madison WI; two siblings, James Davidson & wife Carolyn of Manchester, KY, Barbara Davidson of Jonesville, VA; three special friends, Bill, Greg, and Terese plus a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lewis Davidson & Ada Moore Davidson.
Jack was a chemist with TVA who had recently retired from Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant in Athens, AL. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Athens. Jack always had a very deep interest in history and astronomy and was an avid book collector.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Daniel Henson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2019 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Johnson City, TN. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
