James Floyd (Jim) English, 76, Johnson City, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 26, 2019. A native of Mars Hill, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Leonard & Eileen Pitman English.
He is survived by his daughter: Terri Cooper and son David English (Belinda), granddaughter: Heather Mammano (Shaun), Grandsons: Mark Celeste (Jodi), Derek English (Lauren), Great Granddaughters: Taylor Celeste, Savannah and Madison Alpine, and great Grandsons: Mark Celeste, Jr and Christopher Celeste. One Brother: Leonard (Don) English and One Sister and brother-in-law: Brenda & Tommy Lewis and nephew: Shane Lewis (Becky) and several cousins.
He was employed for many years by Rainbo Bakery and retired from S & D Coffee Company. Jim was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church and most recently attended Pinecrest Baptist Church. His hobby was fishing.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Travis Biller officiating. Pallbearers will be chosen from friends and family.
