Jeffrey C. McNabb, DMin, of Jonesborough, TN, passed away on May 7, 2018, at M.D. Anderson Medical Center in Houston, TX. Mr. McNabb was born on January 13, 1956 in Denver, CO, the son of Kyle C. and Ruth (Honeycutt) McNabb. They preceded him in death.
Mr. McNabb was a person who never knew a stranger. His smile and laugh greeted everyone with warmth and comfort. He ministered with Christian churches in Tennessee and Arizona and served at Emmanuel Christian Seminary. Most recently he served as Chaplain at Cornerstone Village in Johnson City.
Mr. McNabb is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan (Holdren) McNabb, of Jonesborough; his daughters, Maia Estes (and husband, Matt) of Knoxville, and Alyssa Petrey (and husband, Jason) of Richmond, KY; his brother, Michael, of Yucaipa, CA, and his sister, Marsha Buck of Kingsport, TN, and his niece and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at Crossroads Christian Church, 1300 Suncrest Dr., Gray, TN, with Ministers, Charles Reese and Clint Andrews officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Committal services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 11:00 am, at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton, TN, with Ministers Palma Bennett and Wayne Emery officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeff McNabb Memorial Garden, c/o Cornerstone Village, 309 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. A basket will also be available at the church for these donations.
