Mr. Johnny L. Roark, 51, of Johnson City, TN passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 in the Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga.
A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late John E. and Jessie Venable Roark. Mr. Roark attended services at the Salvation Army.
He is survived by four sisters, Fonda Garland and her husband Tony, Jonesborough; Donna Jones, Elizabethton; Teresa Holdren and her husband Jim, Elizabethton and Lenay Laws and her husband Mark, Roan Mountain; one brother, Norman Roark and his wife, Glenda, Elk Park, NC; several nieces and nephews, Norma Kay Bodine, Daniel Shane Davis, Denny Ray Garrison, Steven Roark, April Morgan, Travis Roark, David Seth Davis and Logan Mark Laws; great-nieces and great-nephews, Autumn Deseree Gergisha, Brianna Seeley, Shauna Seeley, Jonathon Morgan, Brach Austin Davis, Brenden Roark, Abigail Roark, Alex Morgan, Julia Roark, Luke Roark, Tayven Brie Davis and Carrie Fleenor and one great-great nephew, Rhemi Leech.
The family requests the honor and comfort of your presence at the committal and entombment service for Mr. Johnny L. Roark at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Mausoleum of Peace in Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Mausoleum from 2:00 P.M. until the service time on Tuesday.
