Joyce Street Senesi

Mrs. Joyce Street Senesi, age 83, of Elizabethton, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Hillview Health Center. A native of Elizabethton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sally Wheeler Street. Joyce along with her husband were owner and operator of Dino’s Restaurant in Elizabethton. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Joyce had been a star basketball athlete at Hampton High School and was an avid amateur bowler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dino Joseph Senesi, Sr. and two brothers, Harold Street and Richard Street. Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Dino Senesi, Jr. and wife Yvette, Rock Hill SC; a daughter, Debra Ann Slagle and husband Randy, Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Abigail Senesi and Anna Senesi, Rock Hill, SC; Kaleh Slagle, Elizabethton, Derek Slagle, Marietta, GA and Krista Ramos, Fort Mill, SC; four great-grandchildren, Owen Mikusek, Brock Ramos, Madison Slagle and Thaddeus Slagle and a sister, Roberta Jones, Hampton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Joyce Street Senesi will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Ron Owens and Pastor Brett Jones officiating. Eulogy will be given by her son, Dino Senesi, Jr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday prior to the service.

Committal and entombment service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 A.M. for the committal service.
