Larry Dean Guinn, 63, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his residence. He was a Carter County native. Dean was employed at Presnell Motors for several years. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Sue Carden Guinn and a sister: Tammy Hamby.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years: Janice Dishman Guinn. Two Sons: Michael L. Clow and wife Deborah, Bristol, and Larry Shannon Guinn, Elizabethton. Two Daughters: Tracie Diane Carver and Nancy Greenwell, both of Elizabethton. Four Grandchildren: Brittany & Mason Carver, Skylar Cole and Justice Proffitt. Several Great Grandchildren. His Father: Carl Guinn, Elizabethton. A Sister: Teresa Guinn, Elizabethton. A brother: Rick Guinn, Elizabethton. Several nieces & Nephews; a special friend: Elizabeth Click.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Alan King officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Mike Clow, Rick Guinn, Kevin Alexis, Ron Anderson, Larry Dishman and Larry Shannon Guinn.
