Mr. Lewis Bowers, 81, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was the son of the late Crawford and Myrtle Williams Bowers and was born in Carter County.
Mr. Bowers was retired from Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, Ohio and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elizabethton.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Bowers, of the home; a daughter, Diana Winter-Strano and her husband, Vincent Strano, Elizabethton; a grandson, Jason Winter, Tampa, FL; and his loving step-mother, Mary Lou Bowers, Elizabethton.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Elizabethton with Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr., officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence at any time.
