Lisa Williams Pendleton, 62, Johnson City, entered into rest, Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN
Lisa was a native of Johnson City.
She was a daughter of the late Bailey E. and Jean Chambers Williams.
Lisa was a clinical microbiologist and a former employee of Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont.
She was an active member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
Lisa was a strong, loving, patient, wife, mother and friend of unwavering faith. Her life was committed to caring for others.
She enjoyed Bible study groups, canasta and cooking.
Lisa leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, David E. Pendleton; one daughter, Lauren K. Pendleton and her partner, Vonda K. Wagner, Johnson City; one sister, Suzanne W. Moore and husband, Dwight, Johnson City; nephew, Mark E. Moore and wife, Sarah, Sandy Springs, GA; great nephew, Ian A. Moore; several special cousins and friends.
The family will greet guests and share memories from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Reverend Michael Lester and Reverend Mark Gooden will officiate.
A private committal service will be held at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton, TN.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to International OCD Foundation, IOCDF, PO Box 961029, Boston, MA 02196; or Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 E. Market Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.
