Marie C. Crow Perry, 93, Elizabethton passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Hermitage Health Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest & Maybelle Barnette Crow. Mrs. Perry was retired from North American Rayon Corporation after 46 years of service. She was a member of Keenburg Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl William Perry who died September 18, 1989, her sister, Jane Calhoun and brothers: James & Howard Crow.
Survivors include her son: Gar y Perry of the home. Three brothers: Alfred, Carl & Harry “Bea” Crow, three sisters: Edith Keplinger, Florence Robinette and Shirley Matheson. Several nieces, and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gene Fleenor officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be her brother: Alfred, Carl & Harry “Bea” Crow and her church family. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. The family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to her church family for all their prayers and kindness and the staff of Hermitage Health Center for the excellent care that was given to her also to her very special friend Shirley Sue.
