Michael Charles Turbyfill, 62, Johnson City, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at his residence. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frederick & Beulah Elliott Turbyfill. Michael was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife: Melissa Hurt Turbyfill. A Daughter & Son-In-Law: Heather & Anthony Guinn. Three Grandchildren: Tyler Guinn, Sydney Buckles and Landen Brown. Two Great Grandchildren: Bellamy Miller and Maya Buckles.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday will be: Anthony Guinn, Tyler Guinn, Landen Brown, Dan Allbright, Tim Clevenger and Robert McClain. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care Michael received. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
