Mrs. Mildred Bolton, age 89, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at the Four Oaks Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Bolton was born in Burnsville, NC, and daughter of the late Walter & Maude Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Bolton; and a nephew, Kenneth Walters.
She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and former member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church
Survivors include a sister, Janette Walters, Jonesborough; nieces, Brenda McKee and Jolene Walters, both of Jonesborough; great-nieces, Suzanne Willoughby (Tom), Knoxville, Patti Walters, Jonesborough, and Tiffany Hodge, Jonesborough; great-nephew, Frank Walters (Kim), Jonesborough; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Four Oaks Healthcare Center for their wonderful care.
The family will receive friends at the home of Janette Walters, 452 Mayberry Rd., Jonesborough, Sunday, October 5, 2014, any time after 1:00 PM.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, October 6, 2014, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Jake Herron officiating. Pallbearers will be Carlos Peterson, Ricky Broyles, Frank Walters, Keith Ervin, Tom Willoughby and Jimmy Booth.
