Nancy Jo Savage, age 77, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
Ms. Savage was the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret Wikoff. She moved to Johnson City from Severna Park, MD in 1999, after retiring from 42 years of teaching. In addition to her parents, her sister, Jackie Andes, and daughter, Lorri Lynn Savage, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by: one son, Mark Savage; one daughter, Beth Flemming; five grandchildren, Jessica and Lindsay Savage, Katie Martin, Erin Sparks, and Brad Flemming; and three great grandchildren, Karma and Drake Blackburn, and Mecca Martin.
The family of Ms. Nancy Savage will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 8 PM Wednesday in the North Chapel. Mr. Mark Savage will officiate. The inurnment is scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Family and friends who wish to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10 AM Thursday.
