Oklee W. Hardin, 89, Elizabethton, passed away at Pine Ridge Care Center on December 25, 2014. She was born in Wise County, Virginia to Walter & Cora Taylor Nichols who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by husband, Warren Hardin and sister, Evelyn Souder.
Oklee worked for 42 years at North American Rayon Company, and retired from there. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by Anthony Lynn Hardin, son and his wife Janelle, Elizabethton, Granddaughters: Tracey & David Cox, and Jennifer Saylor. Great Grandchildren: Juston Cox, Jarrett Cox, and Rilee Saylor. Sister & Brother-in-law: Sonja & Jack Cole, Elizabethton.
Private Graveside Services were conducted Saturday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Music was provided by Mr. Elmer Sams. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Rev. Brian Smith, Mr. Elmer Sams and the Staff of Pine Ridge for their love and support during Mrs. Hardin’s illness.
