Keith “Cotton” Smith, 61, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Carter County and son of the late Vernon “Big Cotton” and Ella Maxine Cable Smith.
Those left to cherish Cotton’s memory include his daughter, Tangie M. Bodkins and her husband Abraham, son, Jason Matherly, grandchildren, Xander and Willow Bodkins, sister, Diane Powers and her husband Larry, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
The family will greet friends to share memories of Cotton from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services Johnson City. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
