Richard “Todd” Hale, age 50, of Elizabethton, passed away with a smile on his face after an extended illness surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, April 27, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hale was a native of Carter County and was a son of Ida Neal Hale and the late Carlos Michael “Mike” Hale. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Debra Hale.
Survivors include a daughter, Cierra Hale, of the home; a brother, Mark Hale and wife Trudy, Elizabethton, TN; two aunts, Ada Hawks, Nashville, TN and Ann Ornduff and husband Gilbert, Elizabethton, TN;Cousins: Pamela Ornduff and Kelly Dale; Nashville, TN… Mona Evans; Elizabethton, TN… Susan Heskett; Lovettsville, VA… Wayne Neal; Kingsport, TN… the Late Jerry L. Neal; Piney Flats, TN, the Late Janice Snead; Kingsport, TN… the Late Billy Hale; Gray, TN… Julie Hedges; Johnson City, TN along with several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation to celebrate and honor the life of Richard “Todd” Hale will be conducted from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Saturday May 2, 2015 in the funeral home chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.
The family plans to hold an inurnment service at 2pm in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park on Sunday May 3, 2015.
